Decorating with Birdcages

I've never owned a bird, but I'm hooked on birdcages. They're whimsical and fun, with a sculptural quality that makes them useful when you need something extra to finish a room. They make wonderful accessories and can be used in many different and unexpected ways.

This birdcage on an end table is tucked in a corner where it adds a charming touch of spring time to the room. There's a tiny willow bird cage inside the larger one for even more interest.

  2. Ever since I was 18 I have never lived in a house or apartment without an ornamental birdcage in my kitchen. I actually hand painted one in different colours.
Thought this quote might interest a foodie

  3. They always look so nice in other people's homes, and I'm always convinced they'd soon look messy for me. So I'll enjoy your picture instead.
