Easy Pound Cake From Matthew Mead

Here's a simple and delicious pound cake recipe from Matthew Mead's  Recycled Style. He made two loaves and tinted one pink for a Valentine celebration. I know Valentine's Day was a few weeks ago, but I think his idea would work equally well for other holidays: green for St. Paddy's day, yellow for Easter ... well, you get the idea!

EASY POUND CAKE    
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
1 tsp. each: vanilla, almond and lemon flavoring
5 eggs
Mix all ingredient together and spoon into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350°F for about 1 hour.
