What, you may ask, is food porn? According to Wikipedia,
"Food porn is a provocative term variously applied to a spectacular visual presentation of cooking or eating in advertisements, infomercials, cooking shows or other visual media, foods boasting a high fat and calorie content, exotic dishes that arouse a desire to eat or the glorification of food."
That works for me! After blogging about food for the last year and a half here at Aunt Shoe, I have become a great appreciator of beautiful food, in all it's succulent glory! FoodPornDaily.com is brought to us by Amanda & Tyler from What We’re Eating and Nicole from Pinch My Salt, with contributions from the community at large. Their goal is to provide the most delicious food pictures possible at least once a day, everyday. They want us to get excited about food. I really do appreciate the time and talent that goes into preparing something to eat that is also visually appealing. With just a little extra time and effort, it can happen! The folks at FoodPornDaily say the recipe isn't always available with the photo, but they don't believe it's crucial to the culinary experience. I'm not so sure. Usually when I see something that looks fabulous, I want to make it here in my own little kitchen, ASAP! They do provide links to recipes whenever possible. So get cracking, check it out and prepare to drool!
