Sugar Snap Peas: No Strings Attached

One of my favorite easy party foods: Trader Joe's RED PEPPER HUMMUS, served with sugar snap peas for dipping. I'm a huge fan of those puffy little pea pods. They're so sweet and juicy, I love to eat 'em raw. To serve, the pea pods should be "stringed," which means the membranous string running along the top of the pod from base to tip is removed. The strings come off easily when the stem is pulled away from the pod. And if you serve the pea pods with hummus, be on the look-out for double-dippers!

  1. I love raw sugar snap peas too and now you have me adding these to my shopping list for a great addition to my raw food diet.
