Happy Birthday, Julia!
Julia Child, esteemed cookbook author and first queen of TV chefs (and one of my personal heroes), was known for her quick wit and all-around quirkiness. She would have turned 100 today. In honor of that milestone, I have gathered some of her legendary quotes and wisdom:
“You don't have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces - just good food from fresh ingredients.”
― Julia Child
“If you're afraid of butter, use cream.”
― Julia Child
“The only real stumbling block is fear of failure. In cooking, you've got to have a what-the-hell attitude.”
― Julia Child
“The only time to eat diet food is while you're waiting for the steak to cook.”
― Julia Child
“If it's beautifully arranged on the plate - you know someone's fingers have been all over it.”
― Julia Child
“Everything in moderation... including moderation.”
― Julia Child
