Have you heard Jackie Evancho sing? Jackie is the 10-year-old child prodigy from Pennsylvania whose performance on "America's Got Talent" last summer won the hearts of millions. Her voice is truly sensational. You'd swear a thirty year old woman was singing when she opens her mouth. I just discovered she's releasing her four-song Christmas CD, "O Holy Night," today. She's been doing the talk show circuit, Oprah, the Today Show, and The View, where I saw her yesterday.
According to the press release, "her DVD contains the following songs, "O Holy Night," "Silent Night," "Panis Angelicus" and "Pie Jesu" and includes her YouTube audition, plus an interview. A CD/DVD combo is available for $8.98 on amazon.com and on Jackie's website, www.jackieevancho.com." I'm thinking this would be a nice little "extra" Christmas gift for my mom. Jackie's rich soprano voice is goose-bumpy beautiful!
