Bluebells!
The blue bell is the sweetest flower
That waves in summer air;
Its blossoms have the mightiest power
To soothe my spirit's care.
~Emily Jane Brontë
The Virginia Bluebell (Mertensia virginica; also Virginia Cowslip, Lungwort Oysterleaf, Roanoke Bells) is a spring plant with bell-shaped sky-blue flowers opening from pink buds. These are blooming in my daughter's garden.

Bluebells always seem so filled with memory. We used to walk in the bluebell woods in spring.
